Title Protection

As a result of successful efforts made by AIHA Georgia Local Section and others, the Georgia State Legislature enacted HB 353 as an amendment to Title 43 of Georgia state law. This provides legal recognition to the professions of industrial hygiene, health physics, and safety. The bill was signed into law by the governor on May 9, 2005.
